Transport and Distribution CommissionThe scope of activity of Transport Commission has been widen and actually includes also problems of distribution.
On 12 December 2007 in the seat of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry in Warsaw meeting
of the Transport and Distribution Commission has been organized with participation
of the representatives of 7 PIPC member companies including:
- PKN Orlen S.A.,
- Z.A.Puławy S.A.,
- Z.A. Kędzierzyn S.A.,
- Brenntag Polska Sp. z o.o.,
- GATX Rail Poland Sp. z o.o.,
- Anneberg Transpol Int Sp. z o.o.
- and Solvadis Polska Sp. z o.o.
Mr Paweł Mularz, SQAS assessor has been invited to the meeting as an expert.
PIPC was represented by Mr J.Majchrzak and Ms H.Kilen.
Participants accepted proposal to combine problems of transport and distribution of chemical products
under the umbrella of one Commission and approved change of the name of the Commission.
Mr Paweł Mularz presented different modules of SQAS and answered the questions of the participants. .
Ms Ewa Wołynkiewicz, representative of distributing company Brenntag Polska Sp. z o.o.,
the first company of that type in Poland assessed according to EASD, shared their experience with the participants.
Participants elected Commission’s authorities.
Mr Adam Leszczyński, GATX Rail Poland Sp. z o.o. has been elected Chairman of the Commission
and Ms Ewa Wołynkiewicz, Brenntag Polska Sp. z o.o. – Vice Chairman.
It was agreed that the members of the Commission will submit proposals of problems on which
Commission should work in the nearest future as well as their suggestions as regards organizing
meeting of the Commission with the representatives of government and companies with a
major impact on the situation and solutions applied in the transport and
distribution of chemical products till 15 January 2008.
Next meeting of the Commission is planned mid February 2008.
