Commission of Paints and Varnishes Manufacturers
Paints and Varnishes Commission „Paints and Varnishes Polska”In May 2005 Paints and Varnishes Commission has been established within
the structure of PIPC and it acts according to the Statute of the Chamber.
Companies manufacturing paints and varnishes and associated in the Chamber
are the members of the Commission, namely:
- SigmaKalon Cieszyn S.A.,
- SigmaKalon Deco Polska Sp. z o.o.,
- ICI Polska, Oddział w Pilawie,
- Akzo Nobel Coatings Sp. z o.o.,
- Tikkurila Polska S.A.
- and Fabryka Farb i Lakierów Śnieżka S.A.
According to the program and adopted rules of the Commission, the Commission is dealing with such problems as:
a) Optimum use of energy and resources
b) Lifecycle management of paints and varnishes
c) Consumer exposure to paints and varnishes ingredients
d) General and fire-safety
e) Waste management

Lately Working Group on Biocides has been organized within the structure of the Commission.
